Struggling to Use a 𝗚𝗠𝗦𝗔 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗿?

Ever tried using a Group Managed Service Account (gMSA) in Task Scheduler?It looks simple in the GUI, right? You select the account, try to find it… but nothing appears.

Here’s the trick:
By default, the search includes multiple object types within Entire Directory (Built-in Security Principals, Service Accounts, Users).

𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Uncheck everything except Service Account—and suddenly, you can find and select your gMSA account!

Of course, PowerShell commandlets can do this too, but sometimes a quick GUI trick saves time.
